Vandivier's notebooks regarding the railroad post office (RPO) and highway post offices (HPO), and includes letters, newsletters, and Vandivier's personal notes ranging from 1948-1974. Also included is a copy of the book, "Railroad Postmarks of the United States, 1861-1886" by Charles L. Towle and Henry A. Meyer (1968).
