Thickstun of Belmont, Indiana from The Patentees' Union of Indianapolis, Indiana in response to a letter they received from Thickstun about selling his patent; a handwritten advertisement for the sale of his patent from circa 1893; and an unused supplementary agreement from the American Patent Agency of Cincinnati, Ohio from January 1894 that includes the signature of the manager, O.J.
