Scope and Contents
This collection includes two sets of photocopies, one as a bound volume, of Mahala T. Shaw's 1871 diary copied from the original in the possession of Shaw's grandniece, Mrs. Roy F. (Esther) Gregg. In the diary, Shaw recounts her daily activities while living in Battle Ground, Indiana and includes names of family and friends who visited, shopping, books, gardening, household chores, and church and social activities.
