Scope and Contents Two items are in this collection, the handwritten letter and the typed transcription of same. The letter was written on July 2, 1866 by Forceythe W. Willson, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is addressed to "Dear Friend." According to the typed transcript, the friend was Maria Howland Conwell, aunt of Forceythe's wife, Elizabeth Conwell Willson.
