Scope and Contents
This collection includes letters and papers from Walter S. Lemmon dating from 1884 to 1945 with the bulk of the material being from Lemmon's army service during World War I. There are letters to his family from camp, discharge papers, and a souvenir booklet of Camp McArthur in Waco, Texas. There are also family and school papers, as well as World War II ration books and records.
