Scope and Contents This collection includes a photostatic copy of a letter written by Elias Reeves on February 19, 1862 from Fort Craig at Arlington Heights, Virginia and sent to his friend James Pickard during the U.S. Civil War. In the letter, Reeves mentions that he's been sick for "some three months" since he'd left Indiana, was tired of "old Virginia," and had seen Washington and Annapolis, Maryland.
