Scope and Contents The collection contains 113 photocopies of newspaper clippings from The Shelbyville Republican, the Indianapolis News, the Indianapolis Star, and the Palladium Item dated 1925 to 1974. All the clippings deal with Emmert’s political activities or related matters. The collection also includes a letter written by Emmert as Attorney General of Indiana to Charles H.
