Scope and Contents This collection contains photocopies of a February 8, 1848 letter written by Vactor T. Harden to Dr. John H. Quick at Cedar Grove, Franklin County, Indiana. The letter is written from Camp Molino del Rey during the Mexican-American War and Harden mentions that "James is well also John Towner and all of the Franklin boys" and mentions guard duty at a hospital and that a few soldiers had been killed.
