Scope and Contents This collection includes diaries, correspondence, official church documents, maps, and newspaper clippings from George Upfold in Indianapolis, Indiana and the United States, ranging from 1822 to 1926, regarding official church business and family matters.

There is also an oversize folder with a document ordaining George Upfold dated March 6, 1828 and two copies of a map of Europe with text of the Treaty of Versailles (circa 1919).

Scope and Contents This collection contains several items of Joseph and Kate Francis from the time they lived in Japan in the 1890s, including a letter, an unused postcard, a newspaper and several telegrams written in Japanese. A few of the items are dated, including a February 10, 1894 postcard written in English by Kate Francis and sent to Mrs. C. M. Stevens of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a housing contract for the summer of 1896 written in Japanese; and several tickets for a charity bazaar that was held in April...
