Scope and Contents The collection includes one account book with entries dating from 1853 to 1863. It has an index in the front with customers' names and the page numbers on which their individual accounts may be found. The accounts list the purchases of grocery and non-grocery items. The merchant who kept this account book dealt in subscriptions to periodicals as well.
