Ranging from 1871 to 1888, the bulk of the entries are related to the doctor's medical practice, including the dates of medical service, medicines prescribed, name of disease or condition treated, and fee charged. Scope and Contents This collection includes an 1882 Democratic ticket; a May 11, 1886 postcard send to Dr. Andrew H. Phillips from William H. Stallsworth who lived near Lexington, Indiana; an undated advertisement for "Valley City Phosphate" fertilizer by the Madison Fertilizer and Glue Works; and an undated advertisement for Samuel E. Brewer, Printer, Book Binder, and Stationer of Madison. All items along with a small sheet of paper have miscellaneous calculations written on them.
