The collection contains family letters from John T. Barton from Harveysburg, Ohio; Shenandoah County, Virginia; Parkersburg, (West) Virginia; Warren County, Indiana; and Mier, Indiana. Also included are business papers, receipts, and estate administration papers of Barton’s son, John T. Barton. The volumes consist of farm account books ranging from 1900 to 1927. There is also a Charles A. Osenbaugh account book, 1906-1927 and an undated tintype of Ozenbaugh.

The collection consists mostly of almanacs and diaries of L.B. Graves, which date from 1881 to 1961. With the exception of Barker’s Illustrated Almanac, L.B. Graves used almanacs as diaries. L.B.
