This ledger book has entries written in ink at the annual meetings held in October from 1928-1939.The secretary recorded not only the business conducted but also information about the meeting place. At the first meeting in 1928, Sylvia Oakley wrote: "The Propylaeum was a charming place for the luncheon ... The food was delicious and the tables lovely with the glow of yellow candles and yellow pompoms which may have aided the mellow mood of those present. Friendly visiting and exchange of ideas...

This collection includes a photogravure print of the first Indiana State University Library designed by the Indianapolis architectural firm of G .W. Bunting and Son. The photogravure was created by William B. Burford of Indianapolis in circa 1920. There is a handwritten note on the back of the print about Jobyna Howland, an American stage and screen actress who was the niece of George W. Bunting.
