Scope and Contents This eight-page, typed copy of Daniel Robert Dunihue's travel diary tells of his trip to Canada from Monday, July 19, to Tuesday, July 27, 1830.

On July 25, 1830, the author of the journal recorded: "I wrote a letter to my daughter Harriet." He mentions, on page 7, "found my old friend Col. Mark in fine spirits, with a crowded house." Therefore, it is most likely that the author of the journal was the senior Daniel Dunihue.

Scope and Contents This collection contains a 112-page typed transcription of Enoch Honeywell's diary relating his experiences traveling from New York to Ohio and Indiana from 1815 to 1820 to trade goods. He included prices of land and items available for purchase from the different areas he passed through. The diary also relates Honeywell's 70-day boat trip from Lawrenceburg, Indiana to New Orleans, Louisiana, his observations about the southern city, and his travel by ship back to New York in 1817.
