This collection includes five original Fort Wayne, Indiana land grants ranging from 1836 to 1837, and one original warranty deed from 1857, from Ethel Peck. The land grant dated April 5, 1836 is stamped "President Andrew Jackson". The land grants dated March 15, 1837; March 20, 1837; and August 1, 1837 are stamped "President Martin Van Buren." The warranty deed is dated January 22, 1857.

The document is dated May 7, 1828. The second item is a small, leather-bound diary written mostly in pencil by Lieutenant Solen R. Soper, who was in the 9th Indiana Legion.
