This collection includes a typewritten copy of a June 4, 1865 letter written by Mrs. S. J. Robinson from the United States Christian Commission home in Vicksburg, Mississippi and sent to Mrs. M. J. Dinwiddie at Crown Point, Indiana. In the letter she shares her recent experiences, including her trips to the McPherson and her interactions with "Rebels" and "Seceshia" ladies, and also expresses her appreciation for money she received from Mrs. Dinwiddie.
