This collection is one brown leather-bound account book. Written in ink on the front cover is the following: "H. H. Clark, Cash, Memmorandum, Hitchcock Station, C. R. R., Sept. 27, 1861." Most of the entries are in ink with an x over many which are marked "paid." Entries toward the back are in pencil. Each entry gives a date, a person's name, and the list of purchases with their cost.
