Scope and Contents This collection includes one payroll record book created by the New Liberty Coal Company dated 1938-1939. It lists the employee's name, a miner's number, payroll credit in days and hours of work, total credited hours, employee's debits (union payments, supplies, flickers, O.A.B.), miscellaneous debits (loans, rent, etc.), total debits, payments made to miner made in stock (when applicable), and the balance to be paid to the employee.
