Scope and Contents This collection contains information relating to the Wabash and Erie Canal. There are three receipts from 1850 giving various amounts for work on the Canal. A letter from J. L. Williams, dated December 23, 1856, sums up the repair expenses for the year. Two hand-written sheets list property belonging to the trust on District No. 5, Wabash and Erie Canal, dated January 1, 1859.
