Wiley family papers

The collection also includes letter books of Sebastian and William Hiss, containing business correspondence (1883-1899), register of funerals (1892-1902), register of invoices (1897-1899), and loose bills, receipts, and school report cards.

Scope and Contents The collection consists largely of correspondence and documents recording payments during William Prince’s time as Indian agent at Vincennes, Indiana.

There is also a land grant belonging to Prince dated February 27, 1813 (OB174).
