This collection contains a November 22, 1835 letter written by Indian Agent Abel C. Pepper that
accompanied a treasury warrant (no. 2280) for $1,430 drawn on the State Bank of Indiana at Indianapolis.
Pepper requested that the amount be paid to his credit and that a receipt of acknowledgement be returned
by mail. The warrant is not part of the collection.
