This collection includes photostats and photocopies of a certificate of marriage recorded at Caesar’s Creek Monthly Meeting in Union County, South Carolina for the wedding of William Horner and Sally Compton. The certificate was recorded in Book A, pages 61 and 62 of the register for marriages of this Quaker meeting. The document bears the signatures of 31 witnesses. The wedding took place on April 3, 1823; the certificate was recorded on May 21, 1823.
