Scope and Contents This collection contains mimeograph copies of a letter and historical sketch written by Esther N. Anderson of Michigan City, Indiana. The June 17, 1966 letter was sent to Wallace Gilmore, president of the Family Welfare Society, informing him that she was submitting copies of "History of the Family Welfare Society, Michigan City, Indiana, 1898-1966." The five-page history was prepared by Anderson in response to a request by Gilmore and is also dated June 17, 1966.
