This collection includes photographs from two Ben Hur films and one stage production ranging from 1902 to 1959, including William S. Hart as Messala in the 1902 theatrical production; Ramon Novarro as Ben-Hur and Francis X. Bushman as Messala in the 1925/1926 in the film; and Charlton Hesston as Ben-Hur in the 1959 film. The images were used in the November 30, 1958 issue of the Indianapolis Star.
