Scope and Contents This collection includes photocopies of a copybook owned by Goolsbury Rogers containing entries ranging from 1837 to 1878 and 1971. The bulk of the copybook contains rules, applications and examples of basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and instructions on how to use these arithmetic operations to solve a variety of problems, such as how to figure "Federal" money and English money and how to determine various weights and measures.
