This collection includes a December 12, 1867 marriage certificate for Nimrod E. Lake and Nancy Heath for their marriage that took place in Edwardsburgh, Cass County, Michigan. The certificate is signed by the Justice of the Peace, Dethic Hewitt, and notes that John C. Carmichael and Louisa Hewitt were present as witnesses. The collection also includes a newspaper clipping with Nimrod Lake's obituary and the "Administrator's Sale" notice for his estate (circa February, 1879).
