This collection includes a transcribed copy of a letter from Ben Keelor, Jr. in Chattanooga, Tennessee to A.F. Davis, on November 27, 1863, regarding the account of the battle of Missionary Ridge in which Captain William D. Sering was killed and the accound of his body being returned home. There is also a transcribed obituary for Sebring from January 1864.
