This collection contains 5 letters written by William H. Long in 1863 and sent to his wife, Lucinda, in Henricks County, Indiana while he served with Company B, 117th Indiana Infantry during the U.S. Civil War. The first three letters were written from Camp Carrington in Indianapolis in August and September.
