Slocum's diary and it has entries from when she lived in Indiana and a few entires from the time she lived in Iowa (1857- circa 1880s). Mrs. Slocum recorded family events, daily activities, prayer meetings, and notes about the Indian mission in an 1857 edition of The People's Pocket Diary published by Rumrell and Brother of New York.
