Long discusses the lodge of the International Order of Good Templars (I.O.G.T.), the movements of his regiment from Camp Nelson, Kentucky to Kingston during the Atlanta campaign, and the establishment of the hospital in buildings the Confederate Army had erected for the same purpose.
