Scope and Contents This collection contains a typewritten, verbatim copy of a note that was found in Groveland, Indiana the morning after Salmon Hall's store burned on April 20, 1865. The note is addressed to "Sir Mr. Abolitionists of Groveland" and states that the writer intends to "destroy every thing you have got" and ends with a reference to Mr. Hall.
