Scope and Contents This collection contains a photostatic copy of a handwritten letter by J.E. Mishler and sent to the editors of Outdoor Indiana magazine on August 8, 1968. The letter is in response to a story in the magazine regarding Dan Patch, a famous harness racing horse in the early 1900s. Mr. Mishler relates his experience seeing Dan Patch in an exhibition heat in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1906. He also mentions that he was sending a photograph of a trotter named Greyhound.
