Scope and Contents The collection consists primarily of Bailly’s accounts, financial journals, and record books of his fur trade business. Also included are business correspondence (1800-1801), letters and other papers relating to the settlement of his estate (1836), as well as account books from the Chicago and Lake Superior Mining Company (1846-1847). The collection also contains various photographs and post cards of the family other locations.
