This is a six-part article about the Ku Klux Klan and prohibition in Indiana politics in the 1920s. He gives a brief biography of D.C. Scope and Contents The collection consists mainly of the unpublished manuscript for a book William R. Harley had written titled “Behind the Ku Klux Klan.” It also includes some pages that had been edited and removed from the manuscript. Each chapter includes a separate section of footnotes. Also included is a synopsis of the book to present to publishers. A letter regarding Harley’s publisher difficulties is also included, dated the same year as his death.
