Scope and Contents This collection contains James R. Slack’s correspondence to his wife Ann in Huntington, Indiana during the U.S. Civil War. Also included is his diary, written during the siege of Mobile, Alabama from March to May 1865; and other family correspondence and business papers.

Scope and Contents This collection contains photocopies of the 1865 diary used by John M. Ray while serving with Company C, 47th Indiana Regiment during the U.S. Civil War. The back pages of the diary contain several miscellaneous entries ranging from circa 1865 to 1871. The collection also includes photocopies of two pages of diary entries from late December 1864 and a February 17, 1892 document signed by Shelby Ray in acknowledgement of his payment in full of his share of Levi Ray's estate.

Scope and Contents This collection includes two Civil War military discharge documents for Samuel Anglemeyer from 1863 and 1865 and a postcard and letter from the United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Pensions in 1912 regarding Anglemeyer's veterans benefits.

Keller in Bluffton, Indiana, California, and Minnesota; Mexican War and Civil War army camps, as well as business, legal and financial papers; a diary; newspaper clippings; business advertising; postcards; and miscellaneous ranging from 1848 to 1911, regarding family matters, army life and wars.

There is also an appointment for Keller to the 47th Regiment, Indiana Volunteer Militia on October 10, 1861.
