Copied from origninals in the possession of Herbert Heller, the documents range from 1818 to 1832 and include information about the founding of the church, the building of the meeting house, and money received and paid out. Some of the original documents were damaged and incomplete.

The collection includes two photostats presented by Mrs. William A. Wilson on September 20, 1826 in Jasper, Indiana on the 100th anniversary of the First Indiana Presbytery. The document covers the proceedings of the Indiana Presbytery from 1826 to 1844. In addition, it reviews the origin of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Tennessee and Kentucky and concludes with a letter from Reverend W.E. Gray from 1924.
