Scope and Contents There are two items in this collection. The first item is a photo of the gravestone of Almon B. Strowger in Greenwood Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Florida. The information below the picture was typed by W. H. Adkins, 3118 East 102 Street, Cleveland, Ohio. He wrote: "Under this stone of the unkept grave lies the dust of what was mortal of Almon B. Scope and Contents This collection includes the minutes of the October 13, 1899 meeting of the Alton (Indiana) Woman's Christian Temperance Union (W.C.T.U.) held at the Methodist Episcopal church. The women who attended were Mrs. Riddle, Mrs. Brooks, Susan Roberts, Mary Rohl, Cora Parr, and Katie Wilson. The brief handwritten minutes were recorded on Peckinpaugh, Harrison and Co. letterhead.
