He wrote to Major William Winstin [?]. Regarding the troop of dragoons just arrived, he received orders to send "them immediately to the frontiers of Georgia by the best and cheapest route." The photostat was created in 1916.

The record book was later used to record the sale of stamps, paper, and envelopes in October 1865.
