Scope and Contents The collection contains three scrapbooks of clippings compiled by Harrison’s son, Russell. The clippings document the death of Benjamin Harrison. A fourth scrapbook contains clippings regarding Harrison’s Southern Tour of the United States in the Spring of 1891. There are items related to various memorials to Benjamin Harrison following his death as well as a short biographical pamphlet and information on a full-length biography written by Harry Sievers in the 1950s.

Scope and Contents Charles A. Suffrins wrote his memoirs in pencil on ten sheets of paper, which are difficult to read. However, much of the information is in the Indianapolis Sunday Star article dated April 26, 1931, entitled "Kaleidoscope of State History Found In Notes of Late Charles A. Suffrins." This article is the last item in the collection. Charles worked for the Indianapolis Journal, edited by Harry Stewart New (1858-1937), with whom he corresponded.
