The topic was suggested to her when the Hoosier Folklore Society held their first convention in Bloomington in April 1938. Scope and Contents This collection includes Wilma Usrey's records regarding District 7 and District 5 of the Indiana Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs. Ranging from 1983 to 2003, the collection includes meeting minutes, budgets, bylaws, membership reports, spring meeting programs, essay contest entries, and young careerist applicant photographs and entry forms. Scope and Contents This collection includes the Winona Woman's Club meeting minutes (1903-1907), the clubs constitution (circa 1908-1910), and a May 15, 1916 circular letter from the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs along with pamphlets printed that year regarding the petitioning of Congress for the mountain laurel to be designated as the national flower. The collection also includes several handwritten notes regarding club committees (undated).
