Scope and Contents This collection contains a typed copy of a membership list for Vernal Baptist Church in Monroe County, Indiana. Charter members of the church from its establishment are included up until around 1900. There are also brief biographies of integral persons.

There is also a photostat copy of the minute book of Vernal Baptist Church in Monroe County, Indiana ranging from 1822 to 1855 (OB213).

"Wabasch Lied" poem

Scope and Contents This collection contains two photostat copies of "Wabasch Lied" or "Wabash Song," a poem written in German by members of the Harmony Society after moving to Indiana in 1814. "E. D. Ogden and Co. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana " and the date December 18, 1942 are stamped on the reverse side of one copy. It is not known it the photostats were made from an original copy of the poem.

A photostat history dating from 1814-1939 includes an order of worship for the 125th anniversary of Westminster Presbyterian Church. It also lists ministers, elders, deacons (1814-1939) and trustees (1900-1939).
