Scope and Contents This collection includes three black-and-white photographic prints of Radical Republican members of the U.S. Joint Committee on the Conduct of War during or after the U.S. Civil War, circa 1861-1865. The photographs are copies from the Brady Collection at the National Archives. There is also a photograph of Liberal Republican Carl Schurz.
