Josiah Hutchison biographical sketch

Scope and Contents This collection includes a 3-page biography of Josiah Hutchison, written by J. Quigg. Quigg's relation to Hutchison is not known. Quigg provides an overview of Hutchison's life and personality. The biography closes with comments on which of Josiah's children were surviving at the time of J. Quigg's writing and where they were living. The biography mentions the 1885 murder of Josiah's daughter Mary and her husband James McMullen.

Julia and John Seagley collection

Scope and Contents The collection includes the biographical manuscript, “The Lives of Julia and John Seagley, My Great Grand Parents” by Birdena Voight. Voight wrote the manuscript on 26 Nov 1934 as part of a course requirement when she was a student. The collection includes two manuscripts, one original and one copy, 13 pages each, with an additional cover page.
