Biographical / Historical
Alfred H. Pering was born January 26, 1869, in Monroe County, Indiana, to Alfred H. and Frances Edmonia (Carter) Pering. He was the sixth of seven children. In 1912, he married Belle Miller in Monroe County, Indiana. Pering was employed by the postal service. He died November 11, 1946 in Dade City, Florida.
