Biographical Note

Mary Rainbolt Long was born July 9, 1920 to Harry and Ruth Whitley Rainbolt. She had three brothers Curtis , William, and James. She married Charles Long on June 20, 1950. They had two children Jean and Charles Long. She was the president of Emmerich Manual High School's Parent Teacher Association as well as the neighborhood chairperson for the Girl Scouts of America. Mary died on July 18, 1995.
