Biographical / Historical

Lewis E Jones was born on April 1, 1906 in Franklin, Indiana to Lewis and Alice Imel Jones. Jones had two sisters, Ivy and Eva, as well as one brother named Lytle. He married Ruby Kirkpatrick in Indianapolis on March 15, 1934. Jones was a baker at Omar Bakery for over 30 years. He also worked at Hook Drug for 4 years. Jones was a member of the Englewood Masonic Temple and Englewood Christian Church. Lewis Jones died June 4, 1984 in Indianapolis.
