Biographical Note
Gladys Eleatha Terhune was born on January 13, 1898 to James Robert Lee and Nora Clift Terhune. She had two young siblings Kenneth who died young and Ethel Terhune. She attended and graduated from Indiana State University in 1928 with a Batchelors of Arts in Education. Gladys later attended Indiana University and graduated with a Masters in Education in 1962. She taught art at Linton-Stockton high school. Gladys died June 7, 1980.
