Biographical Note
John T. Waters was born in Pittsboro, Indiana in 1867 to Isaac B. and Fannie Waters. He was married to Flora Phillips on December 25, 1888 and they had one daughter, Beulah who was born in 1893. John was employed at his father's furniture and undertaking business for several years until he sold the business and moved to Indianapolis. He was employed at L.S. Ayers for thirteen years until poor health forced him to retire. He died on January 9, 1943.
