Biographical Note

Peter McEwen was born on June 8, 1881 in Huron Ontario, Canada to Peter McEwen and Mary Stewart. They later moved to Benton County, Indiana. He attended Macalester College in St Paul, Minnesota where he met his wife, Ethel Bertha Jones. They married in Danville Illinois in 1911. He died In March of 1974 in Garden City, New York.
