This collection includes Bible pages, and a reproduction of "Echoes of the Past" by Reid Miller. Also included is correspondence between the Indiana State Archives and the donor of the collection. A land patent from the Lawson family was also part of the collection; it is current housed at the State Archives.

Biographical Note

The Harrah family arrived in America in the early 1700's from Ireland. They traveled west, setting in Greene County, Indiana in 1830. Other unrelated Harrah families moved into the area as well as the Osborn, Buzan, Flanagan, Fields, Simon, Himebrook and Wagoner families.

The Lawson family came to Indiana from New York in about 1830 and settled in the central part of Greene County. Their nearest neighbors were the Rhodenback, Wakefield, and Winters families.
